Meet Our Interns

The Manufacturing & Technology Enterprise Center (MTEC), formerly HVTDC, provides valuable growth services and assistance to Hudson Valley businesses. However, the Center also provides invaluable opportunities for college students and aspiring engineers. They do so through their internship program, a hallmark of their success in breeding young engineers and preparing them for the workforce.

Internship programs like those at MTEC have affored students direct experience to broaden their education as classroom's abstract theories become concrete and students are placed in real life work situations performing actual, professional tasks.

The future of manufacturing as an economic driver in the Hudson Valley as well as New York State is highly dependant on developing a continous flow of our graduating engineering talent to pursue opportunities in manufacturing within the region. MTEC can feel proud that they provided invaluable opportunities for students, fueling both economic development and education.
