About the Cost Verification Process

A cost verification audit ensures an organization has been and is being billed accurately by vendors and the organization is paying the absolute least amount possible. To begin the audit, their team requires only a signed letter of engagement and a copy of the most recent month’s invoice(s). ICC will read and interpret tariffs, review customer service records, verify that service contracts contain specific terms and conditions to protect clients from unnecessary and escalating costs, among other detail-oriented checks.
