MTEC is excited to share details about an opportunity available to customers served by NYSEG. The Manufacturing Accelerator Program (MAP) is an economic development program offering grant funding to manufacturing utility customers in NYSEG’s service areas. These grants are intended to support manufacturers looking to implement different kinds of productivity improvement projects, growth initiatives, and other transformative business ventures.

The Manufacturing Accelerator Program provides:

  • Matching grants up to the lessor of $15,000 or 50% to fund growth-targeted activities such as new product development, export initiatives, sales and marketing system improvements, and other projects that work to increase revenue.

  • Applicants who choose to commit time and resources to both productivity and growth initiatives will be eligible for grants up to 40,000 or 60% (whichever is less) of the cost incurred to implement such transformative programs.
